Showcase Alameda at Perforce Software

It has been a long month. A lot has happened since February 16th including the launching of our first MAJOR satellite show with 13 exhibiting artists. "ShowCase Alameda" opens with a reception at Perforce Software in Alameda on March 21st. The exhibit will include the work of 13 artists from the 2007 Alameda on Camera Show. All artists that are participating had been invited to show their expanded work from last year's event. Much thanks to Carrie Ewing at Perforce Software for welcoming the Frank Bette Center Artists into their space. The exhibit will run through April.

Clear Up the Confusion Alameda on Camera Satellite Shows

There has been much confusion around the Alameda On Camera Satellite Show.
This show is separate from the 2008 Show and is open only to the artists who particpated in the Alameda on Camera 2007 Show. The shows will be at Perforce Software and Gallagher and Lindsay Real Estate and will be hung by the middle of March. All 2007 artists are eligible and can submit work from the show as well as any images of Alameda that they have created that were not included in the show.

The deadline for entries for the Satellite Shows that include the 2007 Alameda on Camera artists is February 15th 2008.

Alameda on Camera Satellite Exhibits

In conjunction with the new "Alameda on Camera, 2008" show at the Frank Bette Center that will open April 4th we are launching several satellite shows at different venues around the city of Alameda. The work of the 2007 "Alameda on Camera" artists will be featured in these events and will display artwork from last year's show as well as other work that features images from the city of Alameda. Various businesses throughout the city will be hosting these exhibits, including The Bank of Alameda, The Market Place, Cardinal Point Mariner Square, and Gallagher & Lindsey, Inc. Realtors. Other businesses will be added as they become available.
